The Campus Activities Center engages students in the transformational experience of Pittsburg State University by providing inclusive and dynamic co-curricular experiences that empower students to reach their potential.

Fraternities and sororities are an excellent way to meet new friends and are also an integral part of the campus community at PSU. More than that, these friends are individuals who have taken an oath of loyalty to one another and to the highest standards of conduct and behavior to themselves and their brothers and sisters. They strive to do well academically, pushing each other to attain high GPAs and get involved in their classes and their major.

Homecoming at Pittsburg State University is a beloved tradition. The week begins with a Kickoff Night event for PSU students to come together and celebrate their Gorilla pride, and continues with spirited student organization competitions throughout the week. On Saturday, Homecoming culminates with the entire PSU Community coming together in Downtown Pittsburg for the Parade.

We lobby at Topeka for legislation that affects PSU, reimburse student organizations to help stretch their dollars through an allocations process, decide how student fees should be spent, and are constantly working for a better Pittsburg State University.
Prevention & Wellness promotes a culture of respect and inclusion through education designed to empower students to maintain healthy lifestyles and make informed decisions.
A group of peer educators working to raise awareness and educate students about domestic violence, dating violence, healthy vs. unhealthy relationships, sexual violence, sexual communication and consent, healthy sexuality, stalking, and bystander intervention.

Quiz Bowl is an event where teams of four students compete in a question and answer game of general knowledge and quick recall. Game questions cover a range of topics from history and science to sports and popular culture. The top 3 teams win a cash prize, and the winning team goes on to participate at the regional tournament!
