The Weede pool, located in the Garfield Weede Bldg  offers many things from informal lap swimming and just floating on noodles to structured swimming lessons and fitness classes.  Please visit the aquatics page for me detailed information about programs and hours of operation.

Aqua Group Exercise Classes

  • Water Aerobics                                
    Monday & Wednesday 5-5:30pm

    Water exercise helps increase your energy, stamina and strength. This class will use the natural resistance and buoyancy of water against your body to provide a wide variety of conditioning activity. No swimming is required in water aerobics. Noodles, kickboards, and other materials will be provided and the class will be held in water with a depth of 4 feet 4 inches to 5 feet 5 inches.

  • Not Your Parents Water Aerobics      
    Tuesday and Thursday 5-5:30pm

    This high energy and very aerobic class transitions from the shallow end of the pool to the deep end of the pool. Participants can use an aquajogging belt (limited amounts available) to assist them while in this class. Great muscular strength, endurance, and cardiovascular workout. This class utilizes all parts of the pool and will be in areas where the water depth is 13 feet.
